Prèviament, podem introduir el concepte de "descomposició" (quins ingredients formen una hamburguesa?) i algoritme (quins passos hem de seguir i amb quin ordre, per fer una hamburguesa?).

Tot seguit, els alumnes fan el barret del "gat cuiner" i els ingredients amb plastilina i finalment el programa.
